1. Dogs entered at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows must be registered at the Kennel Club in accordance
with Kennel Club Regulations for Classification and Registration B. The registration number/Authority will
be required for each entry.
2. The following entry fees are payable:- Championship Class Non-members £12.00 per dog, Members £10.00 per dog. All other classes Non-members £2.75 per dog per class, Members £1.25per dog per class. Not for Competition entries will be accepted for dogs aged 4 calendar months and over. Dogs must be Kennel Club registered with their details recorded on the entry form. No fee is payable for N.F.C.
3. No prize money will be on offer at this Show.
4. The Committee reserves to itself the right to refuse entries.
5. Puppies under 18 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show are not eligible to compete for Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows.
6. The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is forbidden.
7. No bitch in season is allowed to compete.
8. No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of
the Show
9. Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead when under test. A flat, close fitting, leather or webbing collar is permitted, providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel as an integral part of the collar, i.e. not attached by a ring.
10. Should a judge be unable to fulfil the appointment to judge, the Committee reserves the right to appoint
another judge.
11. No competitor shall impugn the decision of the judge or judges.
12. Dogs will be received at any time after commencement of the opening of the Show.
13. Kennel Club Standard Marking Regulations apply.
14. The height of all jump obstacles will be 650mm. Dogs entered for competition at this Show should measure over 430 mm (1ft 5ins) at the withers.
15. A Judge at an Agility Show may not enter for competition a dog which is recorded in their ownership or part ownership, or handle a dog at the Show at which they are judging.
16. A dog shall be withdrawn from competition and removed from the Test if it is:-
(a) A bitch which is in season.
(b) Suffering from any infectious diseases or contagious disease.
(c) Interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent.
(d) Of such temperament or is so much out of hand as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other
animal.
(e) Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing.
17. In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and including 25 days before the start of the competition shall be counted when entering for any class. i.e the 1st of April shall be counted when entering any class. For these purposes a competition shall be defined as all classes covered within the same schedule. In the event that a dog becomes eligible for the next grade at a particular show, after the entry for that show has been sent, it is the competitor’s responsibility to notify the show secretary at least 14 days before the date of the show. The dog should then be moved into the appropriate class(es) for the next grade. The dog will then be moved into the corresponding number of classes as were entered at the lower grade. If there are fewer or no classes available for the next grade the competitor should be offered a refund of the relevant entry fees.
18. It is the competitors’ responsibility to be available for their class and running order.
19. Should circumstances so dictate, the Society, in consultation with the Judges may alter arrangements as
necessary. Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them must be reported to the Kennel Club.
20. At the time of entry for the Competition, a dog must be registered as required by the Kennel Club Rules &
Regulations in the owners name (or registration or transfer applied for). In the case of a partnership the
full name of every partner must be given. Where an owner makes an entry on behalf of another joint registered
owner(s) or where the agent enters on behalf of a single or joint registered owner(s) such person must have the
authority and consent from the single or joint registered owner(s) to sign the entry form on their behalf thereby
binding them all to Kennel Club Rules and Regulations. I n the event of any dispute, evidence of such
authority and consent will be required. A dog acquired subsequent to entry having been made at a Competition
may compete as the new owner’s property provided that an application for the transfer has been forwarded to
the Kennel Club before the Competition, and the new owner has undertaken to abide by the Regulations and
conditions of the original entry form (and in accordance with the conditions set out above) In the case of dogs
recorded as owned by a limited company, the directors and the secretary of the limited company will jointly
be considered for the purpose of the Regulations. A dog acquired subsequent to entry having been made at a
Competition may compete as the new owner’s property, provided that an application for the transfer has been
forwarded to the Kennel Club before the Competition, and the new owner has undertaken to abide by the
Regulations and conditions of the original entry form.
21. No animal other than one officially entered shall be brought into the precincts of the event during its
continuance, except any dogs registered to assist the disabled, or dogs required for education or instruction purposes or by permission of the General Committee.
22. No responsibility will be accepted for loss, damage or whatsoever to persons, dogs or property at this show.
23. A briefing of competitors will be held 15 minutes prior to the start of each class. Competitors will be
allowed to walk the course but without the dog.
24. If numbers warrant, the Committee reserves the right to appoint an additional judge.
25. Food shall not be carried in the hand or given to a dog in the ring.
26. No official of the Show may wear an official badge when competing.
27. No dog should be left unattended at any time.
28. Handlers working more than one dog in a Class must ensure that the dogs compete in the sequence in
which they are drawn. Failure to do so may result in elimination.
29. Trophies will be awarded to second place in all Classes. Rosettes to 10% in all Classes up to a maximum of 25th place.
30. Ballot for Championship Class Running Orders.
a. Agility Round and Jumping Round – A draw for the running order of the Agility and Jumping Rounds must be made prior to the show. The relevant competitors must be notified before the day of the show. The dogs must run in the order in which they are drawn.
b. Final Agility Round – Dogs to run in reverse order to their combined placings at the end of the first two rounds.
c. A dog must have the same handler for each round of the Championship Agility Class.
35 No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease or having been exposed to such disease during the
Period of 21 days prior to the Competition may compete. Competitors infringing the Regulation will be liable

36 Any sponsors will be listed at the end of the schedule.
37 A practise ring may be available to dogs entered for competition at the show, if space allows. This ring will be

38 A pay on the day ring calss may be available, time and weather permitting and at the discretion of committee
ELIGIBILITY AND SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
In the following definitions of Classes First Prizes or other prize wins are those gained in standard classes at any Kennel Club licensed Open Agility Shows (i.e Limited Agility Shows, invitation events and special classes excepted). Only a first place with a clear round will count towards grade progression.
Agility Classes to include contact points and Jumping Classes where there are no contact obstacles. With this proviso, Classes are defined as follows:-
GRADE 1 (ELEMENTARY)
For owners, handlers or dogs which have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows. N.B. Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 (Elementary) are not eligible for this class.
GRADE 2 (STARTERS)
Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grades 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows, or elected to progress on points from Grade 1.. N.B. Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 2 (Starters) are not eligible for this class.
GRADE 3 (GRADUATE)
Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grade 1 or 2 or have elected to progress on points from Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 4, 5, 6 or 7.
GRADE 4 (NOVICE)
Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 3 or elected to progress on points from Grade 3 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 5, 6 or 7.
GRADE 5 (INTERMEDIATE)
Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 4 or elected to progress on points from Grade 4 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 6 or 7.
GRADE 6 (SENIOR)
Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 5 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 5 or 7.
GRADE 7 (ADVANCED)
Open to dogs which have gained a minimum of 4 first places at Grade 6 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows, 2 first places must be gained in Agility (not Jumping) Classes.
CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS
Open to dogs having qualified to compete in Grade 7. To consist of 2 qualifying rounds of Standard Kennel Club Classes, 1 Agility Class and 1 Jumping Class and a final round of Agility to be held at the same Show.

Directions to Show:
From Forth Road Bridge: Follow signs for M8 (Glasgow direction). At Junction 4 leave M8. Head south onto A705 signposted Whitburn. Go through East Whitburn and take first left (signposted A706 and Lanark). Stay on A706 through Longridge and through Forth until you reach a roundabout. Turn 1st exit onto A721 (signposted Peebles). After approx. 1 mile turn right onto A70 (signposted Ayr and Lanark). Continue through Carstairs Village, pass Newhouse Caravan Park on right, cross railway bridge. Turn left onto A70 (signposted Ayr). At T Junction turn right onto Hyndford Road A73 (signposted Lanark) and continue along until you can see the racecourse on the righthand side.
From the Borders: Take the A72 out of Peebles until Blyth Bridge. Bear left onto the A72 signposted Glasgow. At crossroads turn right onto the A721 signposted Glasgow. At junction turn left onto the A72 towards Biggar. After leaving Biggar take the A72 towards Symington and Lanark. Continue through the village of Symington until T-junction when you turn right onto the A73. Continue on the A73 until the traffic lights when you turn right, over Hyndford Bridge (signposted Lanark). Continue on the A73 towards Lanark, until you can see the racecourse on the righthand side.
From Ayr: Leave Ayr on the A70 heading for Cumnock. Continue on A70 through Cumnock, Muirkirk, Douglas and Rigside. Turn left over Hyndford Bridge (signposted Lanark and Edinburgh). Continue on A73 (signposted Lanark) until you can see the racecourse on the righthand side.
