1, McConnachies Borderbrook Carbon Copy, 8 Mth B/W dog, Nice Head, good ear carriage, correct shoulders with adequate angulation front and rear, needs to settle more on the move but should come patience and time. BPD
PD (3, 1Abs)
1, Morrison’sLocheil Lickety Split, 10Mth EE Red/W dog, Good Head with tipped ears, dark eyes, adequate bone & good angles fore and aft, moved ok but appeared unsettled at times on grass
2. Gray’s Locheil Joint Venture, 11Mth B/W dog, Nice Head, easrs and eyes, good bone & ok angulation. Appeared longer in body to 1st & needs to tighten up on from movement.

1, Alexander’s Coquetmoss The Jean Genie, 13Mth B/W dog, Handsome lad with masculine head, correct length of neck onto well laid back shoulders. In hard condition with overall lovely shape. Excellently handled which showed in his ring presence and movement

1, Jones’ Sianworth Mystic Knight, 22Mth B/W dog, Masculine head, well boned, great angles front and rear. Hiss effortless movement ultimately won this class
2, Alcorn’s Dalguise Magnetic Force, 2 Yrs, B/W dog, Lovely shape to him, all the sttributes of 1st apply, Pushed him all the way for the class.

1, Hagan’s Tribboch Mr Dream Merchant, 3Yrs B/W dog, What a stunner, Excellent head, neck, shoulders. Great angulation to front and back. Moved with great purpose and drive.
2, McConnachie’s Borderbrook The Joker JW, 3Yrs B/W dog, Again great in all departments, pushed 1st all the way. This was a very hard decision to have to make

1, McConnachie’s IR CH Clan-Abby NZ Thunders Tiki at Borderbrook, 3 ½ Yrs B?W dog, The only thing I can say about this lad is excellent in all departments
2, Acorn’s Miraje Magnetic Storm at Dalguise, 5 ½ Yrs B/W dog, Pushed 1st place all the way in most departments. Just preferred the movement of 1st place boy
3, McCallum’s SH CH Tribboch Mr Wonderful.

1, Dalglish’s SH CH Sheltysham Shay of Corinlea, 7 Yrs, B/W dog, Oh what a picture, he supplied wverything I want in a Border Collie, I cant say more. BVD & BIS
2, Gray’s Locheil Live The Dream, 9 Yrs, B/W dog, Pushed 1st all the way, just lost out on overall package
3, Hagan’s Tribboch Travis JW
Res, Sutherland’s Deansgrove Rhonan of Kaiona
VHC, Walker’s Dykebar Little Boy Blu

1, McConnachie’s Borderbrook Classy Chic, 9 Mth, B/W Bitch, Feminine head, nice bone, good angulation. Maturity & Controlled movement will come with age, Definitely worth waiting for.
2, Alcorn & Venn’s Mirage Shenadoah, 6 Mth, B/W Bitch, Again right in all departments, Just lost out on maturity at the start of hopefully a great show career.

2, MacDonald’s Wildfell Scarlett Pimpernel at Locheil, 2 1/1 Yrs, R/W bitch, Nice feminine head, Prick eared, Overall nice shape & bone, Moved well but lack of coat spoilt the picture.

2, Alexander’s Locheil Truly Madly Deeply at Coquetmoss, 22 Mth, B/W Bitch, Lovely head with tipped ears and good eye colour. Held topline throughout but lost out on looser front movement to 1st.
3, McDonald’s Wildfell Scarlet Pimpernel at Locheil

1, Jones’ Sianworth Mystic Dream JW, 2 33/4 Yrs, Tri Bitch, Lovely head, good eye colour, tipped ears. Great bone and overall shape, Correct angulation front and rear, Excellent movement that showed power and effortless drive.
2, Conacher & Turner’s Locheil Midnight Hush, 2 ¾ Yrs, B/W bitch, all the things I liked about 1st apply here just came down to the movement of 1st.
3, Leiper’s Dalguise Wish Upon a Star for Farmacy

Again what an honour to judge these ladies. The Breed should be proud of their oldies.
1, Jones’ Sianworth Celtic Magic, 8 Yrs, Tri Bitch, Loved everything about her in both conformation and movement. She could certainly show the youngsters what is required of a Border Collie.
2, Sutherland’s Deansgrove New Edition of Kaiona, 9Yrs, B/W bitch, Again great in all requirements of a Border Collie, Just lost out to 1st on movement

On a personal note I would like to that the committee of SBCC for inviting me to officiate at their show and for the superb hospitally they provided. Also a special thanks to Fiona for putting up with the 1 ½ Hr Flight delay of the Friday night, collecting me from the airport &taking me to the hotel. Then for collecting me again and taking me to the show on Saturday, this will be in my memory for ever due to the people and the setting.
