Thank you for giving me the
opportunity to judge your Open Show which I was very happy to do. Thank you
also for your kind hospitality on the day. There were many excellent exhibits,
all of whom were well presented in good clean condition. I found only one
exhibit with a level bite and my belief is that in many respects, to the credit
of the breeders, the show border collie is improving, with almost all displaying
a good topline, correctly sloping croup and well turned stifles. On the whole,
temperament was very good. My thanks also go to the exhibitors who persevered
when heavy rain made showing uncomfortable.
